Frequently Asked Questions
The questions we hear most — protective packaging, material choice, lead time and export.
- What is the difference between EVA foam and XPE foam?
- EVA has a more flexible, softer structure and is preferred for impact absorption and applications that require precision die-cutting. XPE, thanks to its closed-cell structure, is lighter and more resistant to moisture and chemicals; it stands out for protecting sensitive electronics or products with a high risk of humidity.
- What is ISPM-15, and why is it required for my wooden crates?
- ISPM-15 is a plant-health standard requiring the wooden packaging materials (pallets, crates, etc.) used in international trade to be heat-treated to prevent pests and harmful organisms. For exporting companies to avoid problems at customs, this treatment must have been applied and stamped.
- How long does it take to produce protective material tailored to my product?
- Production time varies with the product's dimensions, the material type (EVA, XPE, wooden crate, etc.) and the order quantity. The exact delivery time is communicated per project after measurement and design; on request, a preliminary quote and time estimate are provided within 24 hours.
- Why should I choose custom-size / die-cut production instead of a standard product?
- Standard packaging may not fit every product's geometry exactly, leaving gaps during transport and increasing the risk of impact and vibration. Precision die-cutting and project-specific design protect your product to its exact dimensions, minimising the risk of damage.
- Which sectors do you provide protective packaging solutions for?
- We produce bespoke protection and packaging solutions for many sectors, including automotive, white goods, electronics, medical devices, defence, furniture, advertising and general industrial manufacturing.
- On which surfaces can your silicone and sealant products be used?
- The silicones and sealants in our range can be used for sealing and bonding on many surfaces — glass, ceramic, aluminium, wood, concrete and metal; neutral, acetoxy or hybrid-based products can be chosen to suit the need.
- Do you have a minimum order quantity?
- There is no minimum order quantity for standard stocked products, whereas custom-size / project-based production may have minimum requirements that vary by quantity and size. For details, simply get in touch via the quote form.
- Do you provide packaging solutions for shipments abroad?
- Yes. With ISPM-15 heat-treated wooden crates and packaging designed to export standards, we offer reliable protection for both domestic and international shipments.
- Is a sample or testing option available?
- For project-specific solutions, impact, stacking and moisture tests are part of the process before shipment. To learn about sample requests and the testing process, you can contact our technical team.
- What information do I need to share to get a price quote?
- Just share the dimensions and weight of the product to be protected, your material preference (if any), the shipment method and the quantity; our technical team responds within 24 hours based on this information.
