Vortex Ambalaj

Vortex Ambalaj develops protective packaging and protection systems for heavy industry and export lines. We start not with material selection, but with an analysis of the load to be protected.

Vibration, impact, humidity and corrosion — each is measured, and a protection recipe is built around it. Where a standard product falls short, we fabricate custom moulds, crates and fixation systems.

The materials we work in are polyurethane foam, EVA, XPE and PE foam, PP corrugated sheet, corrugated cardboard cartons, stretch film, gaskets and felt. We supply them as sheet — but the real work is cutting them to your product. Quantity and geometry decide the method: a steel-rule die for repeat work, CNC for low volumes and complex contours, waterjet for thick sections, horizontal slicing for block material.

How a job runs is the same every time. We establish the product’s dimensions, weight, centre of gravity and vulnerable points, then add the transport conditions and the stacking load. Density, thickness and method follow from that data. A sample is produced before any production run, and cavity depth, fit tolerance and how easily the part lifts back out are all verified on it. Once approved, the specification stays fixed when the job repeats.

We do not publish a price list, because a square-metre rate for a material says nothing about the work: two different cavities cut from the same sheet differ in cost by quantity, cutting method and waste. Once dimensions and quantity are settled, we come back with a lead time and a price within 24 hours.

There is work outside our scope, and we would rather say so up front. We do not make signage, 3D letters or window displays from EPS — that is the business of signage and display makers. We do not sell retail or take single-piece consumer orders. What we do is design and produce the protection for companies that need to protect a product.

The goal is singular: the load arrives exactly as it left the line.
